Do you mean to say that the dream is rendered false after waking from it? ~ Is not the waking world similarly rendered false in your dream or deep sleep?

Identity

Take a mug shot style photo. Rip out the eyes rip out the mouth rip it in half shred it into as many pieces as possible and collage them do the thing in the pin out the face and stick it back upside down

I like this image because its like a hidden identity and hidden emotions . this image has been created in a studio using slow shutter speed to have more of an effect to do the multiple heads.

This reminds me of the layers of bipolar.

When you feel bad your mind continues to focus on all the parts of your life that seem to not be working. Then you feel even worse. This all continues until you wake up to the fact that your self-image is just a mental idea. It is just a concept

Art class inspiration: Identity

Fingerprint poetry is a great way to start a poetry unit or the beginning of the year. High school or middle school students can really express their individuality. Could blow up a photocopy of the child's finger print and use the lines as guides.
