Long story short - hen disappeared, thought got at until saw her couple of weeks later & she was sitting on 14 eggs! Had to move her, she gave up sitting and eggs were cold. Had 2 broody hens so had to give them a chance - 11 hatched, 9 survived and here they are

Delighted to be working with Anita Sharma James again. Anita was a Medical Research Scientist for ten years but with a passion for Indian food and cookery, so after much persuading from friends she took the plunge and set up her own Indian cookery school 'The Spice Trade' in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. Since then the school has evolved into culinary events, demonstrations, talks, workshops, team building exercises and training. Anita will be with us at The Royal Three Counties Show in June
This is the lovely Daren Bale, Chef/Proprietor at The Hop Pole in Bewdley, Worcestershire. Daren is a fantastic demonstrator and flies the flag for local, seasonal produce. We took this little chap on last year & it's unusual to get him standing still as he runs absolutely everywhere! He is a hand reared Ouessant wether who shares his space with the 'Boreray 'girls'
