Anyone else craving a hug?
Like a storm, this period of uncertainty shall pass. For now we need to focus our attentions on how we can remain in contact with those outside our immediate bubbles whilst still adhering to the rules. Hugs make us happier, reduce anxiety and fear and there is evidence that they can reduce our pain too. For now 'virtual hugs' may need to be the medium of this source of comfort for those outside our bubbles, but remember, better times are ahead and those tight squeezes are not far away.❤
