Later the same year (16/09/61) 70029 was transferred to Aston (21D) shed and then to Carlisle Upperby (07/11/1964) before moving across the city to Kingmoor (12A) shed on 17/11/1966 from where it was withdrawn on 21/10/1967. It was broken up by J McWilliams (Shettleston) in February 1968.
