TIP OF THE DAY - idea and photo borrowed from Pinterest but I tested it on a Ryanair flight yesterday and it worked a treat with toddler (post man pat downloaded) - next time I'll bring some sort of headband to help the earphones stay in properly!!! Survived the flight with baby and toddler by myself :)

TIP OF THE DAY - I've promised myself to actually do this soon (a friend gave me this idea recently) write yourself a letter to you in the future to put away and open when/if you're lucky enough to become a grandmother/ grand aunt/grandad etc. Telling you of all of the things not to do/say and the things you wished someone had done for/said to you when you'd first had kids - it's so easy to forget that the offer of doing a quick Hoover or dropping in a lasagne would be so much appreciated…

TIP OF THE DAY - have a load of apples left over from Halloween games - if so steam them up (I used the rice cooker with a bit of water as I am super lazy), mash or whizz depending on baby/toddler - yummy addition to morning porridge (even if it doesn't look too pretty) :) #halloweenleftovers #apples #irishbaby

Good morning all! Time for today's tip of the day! When introducing baby to puree did you know that the way you position the spoon can make it much easier for baby to ingest the food? Gently tap the spoon (with food o n it) against baby lips first so that they can taste the food and once they open their mouth move the spoon in and up towards roof of baby's mouth allowing them to use their gums to take the food of spoon as you pull spoon back out as opposed to just sucking it (which they…
