One Yard Apron

Art Threads: Wednesday Sewing: One Yard Apron. I finally found a free pattern, complete with an absolutely awesome tutorial, for the exact apron I want to make!

There are a few things to point out in this picture, first thing, depth of field, this picture makes the mushroom the main focus, whilst the background is blurred. Also, we can see the texture inside of the mushroom. I like this picture the most it is zoomed in, and the texture is smooth.

This is a good example of food photography because anyone who has ever cooked with mushrooms knows that specific texture of that particular part of every mushroom. I can almost feel it on my finger tips just from looking at this photo.

In Earth Laughs In Flowers David LaChapelle appropriates the traditional Baroque still life painting in order to explore contemporary vanity, vice, the transience of earthly possessions and, ultimately, the fragility of humanity.

Rotting Fruit: Photoshoot made to show the contrast between health and decay. Fruit is not actually decaying but made to look so by use of mixed media

Rotting Fruit: I like the thought of including both fresh and rotting fruit in one photoshoot.
