Amiens Cathedral located in Amiens, France. A giant gothic building revolving around St. John's the Baptist. The inside is glazed with stained glass that tell many stories. It is a three-tier interior with 126 pillars. What drew me to this piece was how extraordinary the design was. Very detailed and elaborate.

Just a 40 minute trip from Paris, The cathedral stands out as a medieval skyline on the french plains as you approach the town. In a cathedral soaked country, Chartres is one of a kind. Don't miss the labrynth. The surrounding village is a great example of medieval architecture.
