By Italian artist Alberto Seveso. His latest series of underwater ink photographs is entitled "a due Colori" and they are simply breathtaking. The images are made by taking high-speed photographs of two colors of ink mixing with water.

Klari Reis has an ongoing project called The Daily Dish 2013. Every day she posts pictures of her stunning hand-painted petri dishes which resemble live bacteria samples. The colors and textures are so vibrant and realistic that it’s hard to believe they are not actual photographs of bacteria. No two look alike, which is even more mind-boggling as to how she comes up with so many variations.
