An idea for establishing things that the kids can do in different areas- make into a book for the kids/ visitors to look through

Using display to highlight where children's developmental needs are & what appropriate next steps should look like (this one is highlighting pencil grip) - from the fab ABC Does (",)

Cross Phase Planning - Nursery and Reception

Phonics display from ABC Does website. Each sound matching the first sound of a child's name or if no child something they like e.g. Dora the explorer

ABC Does post on display - each child in the class has their own square with their photo and a photo of their family. The rest is added as they go along.

Early Years Display

Display Boards - Nursery/Reception large square for each child with photo of them and significant other - Add examples of work and projects - Annotate with child's comments & adults for evidence (can stick in learning journals later)

Great advice from Alistair on this site - feature the children in their own photo number line to reinforce number concepts (but focus on photographing the children who struggle with number, as they are the ones who need this display most)
