wells-next-the-sea in norfolk with it's crab shacks and pine-wood fringed sandy beaches has long been somewhere on my to-go list. the crown hotel looks like an ideal base from which to explore, with it's elegant rooms & popular, unfussy restaurant.
From Cley towards Blakeney, North Norfolk coast. Amoghasiddhi is the Buddha of the North. North to me partly means north Norfolk and its coast, the place where my parents are now buried in a peaceful church yard
Hunstanton is the only part of the Norfolk coast that actually faces west. As a result it's always a little disorienting for us East Anglian photographers to be presented with beach features that are touched by light from the setting sun!
Blakeney Harbour, Blakeney is a beautiful village on the Norfolk coast. It became a fishing port after it was founded in 1240 but today relies on tourists. Blakeney Point is home to Blakeney National Nature Reserve (National Trust)
