Happy Wednesday, I know that Christmas roses are traditionally white but I love the way they look in a traditional red. I used the Craft Artist flower foam Christmas pack selecting the deeper red and

Happy Monday, A card today in a colour scheme that I used to use loads and seemed to forget about Teal, white and black I love the striking colour so will be using this loads more! I used the Hydrangea stamps and matching die for the flowers by embossing the detail with clear embossing powder. The frame is made using my snowflower cut and emboss folder which I added Izink teal textures paste with a large dauber to add the colour. Black caviar beads for the centres and finished. Enjoy...

Foam Roses...

Happy Monday, I thought I would share today my Brand New Christmas Rose made with the new Silk White flower moulding foam form Craft Artist for Crafts too. It works so well when coloured with the Verbena dye ink form Izink making, to me at least, like a traditional Christmas Rose. I have used my round bauble die as a base for the flowers and tied these with the shaded ivy stamp and die and my Rose leaves ( cut in the Green Flower foam from the new Christmas colour pack). The foam is 0.6mm…

Waste not your Poinsettias...

Happy Sunday, A simple card today made almost totally form waste pieces. I kept all the waste from making my media plate frames and used them here, with the poinsettia die and matching stamps set, to make the card. The background is a piece i cleaned my brayer on, the centre a piece cut form making an oval frame and the poinsettia stamped and cut form another brayer cleaned piece. The simple addition of the swirl ivy cut in silver mirror card and a couple of hatpins and finished. I have to…

More Christmas Cards! Well I say this every year & I will say it again, I don't like to share until I know they have arrived. The first two images are of the card I make for each member of our street. However, we lost three last year & gained one, so I ended up with two spare. I love this image because it reminds me of hope & so I gave the two spare cards to my ex colleagues, Kim & Lorraine. Stamp is Guardian Angel by Sugar Nellie Background is Tim Holtz Falling stars stenciled with texture…

Traditional Colours...

Happy Tuesday, Something a little brighter today and in more traditional colours of red and white ( OK I added a bit of Kraft card as well lol) i cut the Snowflake Square in red linen card from Crafts Too. I covered a sheet of Kraft card in double sided adhesive sheet and adhered the lattice to this adding clear micro beads to cover the remaining exposed adhesive. I used the other dies in the set, stitch dot squares, to cut a frame in Kraft then red and foam mounted these over. I added the…

Easter Sunday Gold...

Happy Easter Sunday, As usual I have made a card or project specifically for today I was going to make an easter egg box as I have done in the past but i just couldn't get it right ( I'm sure that happens to all of us!) So i went with making this gold and white easter card which uses a new technique with the Izink Diamonds! I stared by cutting my Gerbera Lattice three times in gold dust white card I used spray glue to add 2 of these layered onto another piece of the card. I then, using a…
