Her Majesty's Prison Maze ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Her Majesty's Prison Maze (known colloquially as "The Kesh" was a prison in Northern Ireland that was used to house paramilitary prisoners during the Troubles from mid-1971 to mid-2000. Bloody Sunday ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ One of the bloodiest incidents in the history of The Troubles. On January 30, 1972, 26 unarmed, civil rights protesters and bystanders were shot by British soldiers.
