Nintendo GameBoy's portability redefined gaming w/ 2-bit versions of 8-bit hits & exclusives
The Game Boy is an 8-bit handheld video game device developed and manufactured by Nintendo. It was released in North America on July 31, 1989. It is the first handheld console in the Game Boy line, and was created by Gunpei Yokoi and Nintendo's Research and Development 1 - the same staff who had designed the Game & Watch series as well as several popular games for the NES.

Education: BBC Computer
The Model A had 16 KB of user RAM; the Model B had 32 KB of user RAM. Built by Acorn Computers the BBC Model B was built for the computer literacy project operated by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). This saw the Model B become the cornerstone of computing in education throughout the 1980's.
