File:Porthgwarra tunnel cornwall - This tunnel leads from Porthgwarra down to the foot of the slipway in the cove. The tunnel was dug by miners from St Just to allow access to the beach so that farmers could retrieve seaweed by horse and cart.
A small cupboard in the wall of what is possibly St Ives' best situated house - the Quay House. Located on the beach and looking out over the harbour this is a substantial Georgian house. It was once the home of renown watercolour painter John Bromley
