Petra Dufkova - Fashion and Style Illustrator .. an inked illusration. beautifully illustrated with a very nice colour pallet. this has been drawn on water colour paper and photocopied to be then placed onscreen in photoshop to give the texture style
“I know a 'face' where the wild thyme blows, Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows, Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine, With sweet musk-roses and with eglantine.” William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night's Dream
I think that this image is very creative and interesting because the designer made it pop by using the outline of the person. I also really like how the silhouette of the girl in this image is a design and it makes her stand out.
The use of a geometric design to create an impression of a garment is really effective in this illustration. It also contrasts well with the softness of the face and skin. Its clever to also inject the colour palette into the illustration this way, however this particular palete is rather bland.
Weaved photographs? Nope. Vintage photographs chopped up into perfect little diamonds, mixed up with each other, and then rearranged into new dizzying images. Whoa. Today’s lovely touch of vertigo is brought to you by Californian artist Allison Diaz.
