The asymmetry here, along with the structured patterns and monochromatic scene, creates a great sense of harmony and rhythm. The silhouette, being the subject matter of the image, really adds to the aesthetic quality and without the man being a silhouette, the whole image would loose it's specific 'look'. There is almost a sense of weightlessness in this image.
