If you're lucky enough to have a wisteria in your garden, then August is a good time to trim any long shoots. This should help encourage more flowers for the bumblebees and honeybees next year #homesfornature

Wisteria is a very colorful vine and fast growing. It is good for arbor coverage or as a stand alone plant. Flowers are generally out around Easter each year. Need to re-plant in our new yard!

Plant on east side. Check out the tall shrubery for garden/privacy screen: small boxwoods, dame's rocket, lambs ear, bellflower, penstemon, lakspur, yarrow, sedum, cranesbill (which smells heavenly), giant delphiniums. Zones 5 and above unless you wish to replant boxwoods annually.
