King Richard III House in Scarborough, England, is part of a 14th century house, where King Richard III is reputed to have stayed when visiting the town on naval business. Anne Bronte's Grave, St. Mary's Church, Scarborough, England. A vintage photo of the grave; note bowler hat on man and street light in background. Anne's original gravestone was refaced three years after her death, when Charlotte (her sister) returned to discover five errors on it. The other mistakes were corrected but the age was not. Anne was 29 when she died. In 2011, The Bronte society placed a plaque on the site of the grave, with the correction.
