The original Jenners' Department Store, Edinburgh in 1870 This view, taken from the Scott Monument, looks down on Kennington & Jenners' store at the corner of Princes Street and South St David Street. The store expanded during the 18th and 19th centuries. It was re-named Jenners in 1924.

A quiet morning in 1974 finds Leyland Titan PD2/20 / MCW LFS 435 and Atlantean PDR1A1 / Alexander WFS 252K waiting for the lights at the junction of North Bridge and the High Street. The shop on the right is Patrick Thompson's, formerly a well-known Edinburgh department store, which closed many years ago now, and universally known as "PTs".
