Cleaning sterling silver jewelry: Line a plastic or glass container with aluminum foil. Place silver jewelry on the foil making sure each piece touches the foil. Sprinkle baking 1T soda and 1T salt over and cover with 1c boiling water. Use a spoon to swirl the jewelry around until it is untarnished. (I did this and was amazed how fast it worked and how clean my sterling was!)

Slighly crinkle up the aluminum foil and place it on the bottom of your dish. Put all your jewerly in a single layer making sure the silver is touching the foil. Sprinkle a layer of Baking Soda over everything. Pour boiling water over.
