Circa 1930, oak framed Orkney chair stamped D M Kirkness, Kirkwall, Orkney. The chair in a light oak frame with shaped straw and marram back, and leads on to shaped arms. This is all above tapering square supports and lift out seat, with the frame inside featuring the Kirkness stamp.
