Thought 3D printing was cool? Now look at this. This has been doing the rounds on a fair few blogs now but I couldn't not share it. Instead of printing layer upon layer of two dimensional material, Mataerial uses a thermosetting polymer which effectively comes out of the robot nozzle as a solid extrusion, meaning it can produce 'anti gravity' sculptures without need for support and printing can be done on any surface regardless of texture.
