Lucia paints but prefers to draw because it is an immediate and raw response. Which can create some beautiful paintings. She draws intuitively and doesn't question herself. She doesn't prepare more than cutting a piece of paper and opening up her box of pastels. She has created scenic backdrops and props for various theatres including: The Jermyn Street theatre, London. for Carmen (a production on Carmen Miranda). She has also painted costumes for Cats, Riverdance, and Beauty & the Beast.
