I like how the artists has brought together man and nature through fragments. I particularly like the themes behind this piece and the way he has brought together the realistic portraiture of the man with a whimsical pattern.
The artwork above is part of an exhibit called The Happy Show in which graphic designer Stefan Sagmeister visually explores his journey in cognitive therapy, meditation and mood-altering pharmaceuticals to train his mind to be happier.
Sagmeister’s AIGA Detroit, ‘Style = Fart’ poster was used as a promotional poster for the 1999 AIGA Design Conference. The poster was literally cut into Sagmeister’s body to show the pain and controversies that Sagmeister Inc.
