Photograms of lemons and limes. Photography students often begin the year experimenting with the simplest type of photographic image – a photogram, also known as a ‘cameraless photograph'. Translucent objects work especially well.
photograms - a gallery on Flickr the flowers are 3d so there is a shadow. some of the petals are translucent while the others are opaque, this causes the image to appear like a x-ray and I could use flowers in my own photograms to replicate this effect
I totally forgot about this process! I did this with some Topics students one summer for fun. I was surprised by the results! coffee + vitamin c = caffenol: diy film developing. don't know if i'll ever get around to doing this, but, pretty nifty.
