Ian Murphy - Architectural Studies in Sketchbook I like the use of ink and drawing to create this piece and the annotations next to it

I love the mix of loose watercolour and intense detail, it just works so well.

Tom Gate, Christ Church, Oxford, UK Watercolor by Park Sunga Liking the semi-finished aspect of this painting, changing how the eye perceives detail and attention.

This is probably one of my personal favourites for watercolour paintings. This drawing just allows the viewer to see the great difference in contrast and tone from the light source. As you can see, the light source piercing through the windows are yellow/orange-ish whilst fading gradually to blue and dark grey. I love it!
