British Railways (London Midland Region) - "Travel in Rail Comfort" - poster issued c1955, designed by Hans Unger
A clever poster by Hans Unger for the British Railways London Midland Region. I like the use of the umbrella and the grey to suggest rain, with the eye drawn into the comfort of the cheery train - the carriage is in the carmine red and cream livery used by the Railways at the time, commonly known as 'blood and custard'!
