Michael Chase Lesson idea: varying sizes of cardboard cut into strips and used as a mark making tool. Ink, powder paint, acrylic. Create surface texture with Calk or Pollyfiller and then rub in a glaze or wash?
Mark making experiment I repined this simply because of the mark making itself. I feel that this mark is very strong as I uses only one medium, however it manages to portray different shades, hues and thickness. The translucent element of the mark itself also adds depth to it.
