Ceramic decorative vide-poche by Dominique Pouchain (circa 1990s). Eye-opening colours in a glaze of green, blue and orange that invite the eye to feast on this modern design vide-poche. Although it is more contemporary, it is reminiscent of designs from the 1960s with its brush-stroked lip, and abstract blue and orange base. Visually stunning and a designer's dream. It is inspired by Picasso's ceramics made in Vallauris, France. This piece is one of Pouchain's highly personal works created in Poët-Laval rather than in the town next door, Dieulefit, where his more commercial pieces were produced. Ceramic French Rooster by Dominique Pouchain (c. 1990s)

Ceramic French Rooster(s) by Dominique Pouchain (c. 1990s). This whimsical coq is pure joy to look at and to display. The artist himself indicated he had so much fun in its creation.
