This rare picture is reproduced from James Marshall's book The History of The Great West Road,..which describes WW2 bomb attacks...the second of which,a V2 in March 1945, destroyed the factory and the lives of many people. The photo credit is also linked with Chas K Bowers Ltd) ISBN 188991 442 50 The factory was owned by Leonard Williams Ltd and designed by Wallis, Gilbert and partners.

Postcard published by the Collectors' Publishing Co, 42/44 Imperial Buildings, London EC. The postcard was sent in 1906 from Harry Symons to his mother at the British Consulate in Hamburg, Germany.
