A variation on the money-matching game is playing "candy shop" where the "customer" gets "candy" (the pictured cards) in exchange for the listed price. Great for reinforcing monetary value as well as exploring the idea of working in a shop.

I like this - I would probably make the words velcro so students could take them to their seat for correct spelling. No more "said" Here's a way to display the various words to use instead of said. Clever idea for writing class!
