When semi-finals were magic! You don't need Wembley for those glorious moments
If the FA think four years of semi-finals at Wembley have erased the widespread disapproval of hosting such matches, anecdotal evidence suggests otherwise.
When I was a boy I wanted to be David Harvey. I couldn't play Football so, like any one who couldn't kick a ball straight, I played in goal. My first vivid Football memory was watching a Scotland team in the 1974 World Cup which included six Leeds players & Harvey put in some great performances as the Jocks were unbeaten but still failed to qualify. I actually supported Scotland for a while! Harvey should have played many more times for Leeds & we would have won more trophies had he done so
