Royal Racing Yacht Bloodhound / The classic 1930s ocean-racing yacht Bloodhound, owned by HM The Queen and Prince Philip in the 1960s, was purchased by The Royal Yacht Britannia Trust in 2010. She is usually on display alongside Britannia in Edinburgh as part of the Royal Sailing Exhibition. Britannia Tradition: The Christmas Pudding / For sixty years the puddings have been made aboard Britannia by Royal Chefs using their own treasured recipes. While the Royal Yacht was in active service the inspection and stirring of Britannia’s Christmas pudding was a time-honoured and informal tradition. Today, Britannia's Chefs continue to make Christmas Puddings in the Royal Galley for sale in our Gift Shop and to be given to guests at evening events. Here they are being made earlier in the year by Pastry Chef, Andrew.
