The Dove House is a modern extension project that was done by the architecture firm of Gundry & Ducker. The new structure was added to a Victorian terraced house in West London with a dark and narrow kitchen. The new structure is covered in black stained larch, which is quite the opposite of the now white-walled interior. The kitchen cabinets and fixtures are black, which ties everything together.
Kitchen - DMVF were approached by the owners of this detached late Victorian house in order to undertake a full restoration and extension of their home. Restoration works included new timber framed sash windows throughout, refurbishment of plaster finishes and cornicing, new heating, wiring and plumbing throughout. New decorative finishes throughout the interior were provided and extensive upragding to the landscaping of the gardens. www.dmvf.ie. Photo by MarkScott.
