Ever fallen in love with a makeup product? No? Just me then. I’ve never really been much of a highlighter user, for two reasons. 1)I never really understood the benefit of using a highlighter, and 2)I could never find a good enough highlighter to make me change my mind. That was until I started seeing every blogger and YouTuber recommending this beautiful palette.
I was browsing around eBay a while back, trying to find some cheap make-up, mainly to review. I stumbled across a load of ‘fake’ make-up, essentially rip off items of the real product.
I never really thought about the importance of hand cream, until I worked in care. I always thought it was a gimmick; a way for companies to make money.
I’ve always been a bit mad when it comes to face masks. Considering I have very sensitive skin, I’ve only ever had one reaction. My extensive collection of the skincare products range from heat masks, to clay, detox to blackhead peels. I have a face mask for every occasion!
Who doesn’t like a matte lip, seriously? I for one, have become fully obsessed with the whole liquid lipstick ‘franchise’. So, when I saw these Super Matte Liquid Lipstick‘s in New Look around Christmas time, I knew I had to get one! I ventured to my local NL store, to find that the shade I wanted, Fawn, was in stock! And so, I purchased it.
I remember walking in Kiko for the very first time, a year ago. At that point I didn’t even know that the brand ‘Kiko’ existed, let alone that it would have such a large variety of make-up products at ridiculously affordable prices!
The ‘Brow Dual Ultra Brow Arch & Shape‘ is just £3.50 and has both a crayon end and a felt tip end. I got it in the shade ‘dark’, which I find too dark, and I have dark chocolate brown hair. I find it fully covers my brows, giving them great shape and definition.
I decided that one of my ‘to do’s’ this year, was to join some kind of subscription service. I love trying new products, but with working over fifty hours a week, and using all of my money on bills and driving lessons, I’d find that I didn’t have much spare money left to experiment with new products. A great example of this is that I now own three makeup removers, all of which I don’t like – but because I’ve not been able to go out and experiment more, I’m stuck using the horrid products!
Major confession alert! I took these photos back at the beginning of September. Yes, it has taken me that long to sit down and write a blogpost. I am planning a lot of fun content for my blog over blogmas, so look forward to that!
