Shadows are known as the dark area produced by a body coming between rays of light and a surface. But shadows seen through Vangelis Paterakis’s lens are a second creation of organisms that make up an unnoticed realm of life.
In this image, the blur of people moving around in the crowd makes it look interesting, but it is also focusing on particular people who are standing, walking, moving in what looks like a busy area. A slow shutter speed is used in this image.
This image was taken by Alexey Titarenko and the image is from his photo series of the 'City Of Shadows'. By altering the camera's shutter speed, he has captured ghost like images of the people within the fall of the soviet union.
