The Full English Breakfast - A traditional full English breakfast includes bacon, poached or fried eggs, fried or grilled tomatoes, fried mushrooms, fried bread or toast with butter, sausages and baked beans, usually served with a mug of tea. As nearly everything is fried in this meal, it is commonly called a "fry-up". It is truly a national icon and was historically a tradition enjoyed by the working, middle and upper classes.
A perfect starter or even a canapé recipe from TV presenter and chef John Torode, the classic flavours of tomato and pesto shine through these rustic tarts. Use a good quality pesto, or have a go at making your own.
Courtesy of California-based café and dessert parlour Crème & Sugar, please behold the pink, sparkly, magic of unicorn hot chocolate. Unicorn hot chocolate is simply white hot chocolate that has been dyed a pretty pink shade, topped with tiny multicoloured marshmallows and plenty of sprinkles.
