Unusual saddle that has a classical saddle shape with a steel strung guitar compensation applied. After alot of chatting with our Canadian customer (who has a vintage guitar with intonation problems) we decided that this is the best route forward. Recently shipped, a compensated bone guitar saddle. The thickness is controlled to a tolerance of less than 0.1mm giving a good interference fit in the saddle slot. This produces excellent force transference and hence a good tone. The strings vibration energy is efficiently transferred to the guitar top via the saddle and bridge resulting in a high level of sound intensity with clear note definition. Our Neck Rest has a V Shape support cradle as it is the common method used in engineering for supporting curved material (like the back of a guitar neck). Reaction forces from the corked surfaces of the neck rest provide a very efficient, stable support for your guitar neck which is necessary for many types of guitar fret work such as fret levelling, crowning, fret polishing and fretboard surface preparation work.
