The Royal Story. Over 100 years ago, a Prince of Wales was crowned. The Prince wore a rod, a ring and a sword all made from rare Welsh gold, engraved with a Welsh dragon.
The Russian Kokoshnik Tiara, presented to the Princess of Wales on her Silver Wedding Anniversary in 1888 by Lady Salisbury on behalf of 365 peeresses of the United Kingdom. The tiara was made by Garrard Jewellers and supervised by Lady Salisbury. It is made up of 61 platinum bars and encrusted with 488 diamonds, the largest of which being 3.25 carats each.
