A simple arch (with gate!) leading into the deer-proof garden, with much longer pickets of the fence, would be lovely. Don't need overly fancy stuff. Definitely want to incorporate an arbor as the entrance to Momma's Memorial Garden.
A serpentine bluestone path from the driveway and entering the rear yard and garden. Plantings with different heights, textures and colors create a wonderful experience and feel as you enter the property. (I like the straight pavers in a curvy path.
We planted this Acer palmatum 'Osakazuki' more than 20 years ago and it now a small tree size. The leaves change from green to fiery red in autumn. Also in autumn it has clusters of scarlet, red-winged fruit on red stalks.
