I took this in April 2015. In order to get the picture I climbed the embankment which was quite steep and lent through the fence. I would not recommend this to anyone. More of my pictures and information can be seen at, www.colingreenphotography.blogspot.co.uk

Taken at the Batty Moss - Ribblehead Viaduct, North Yorkshire. I took this in April 2015 and had to wait around for a while for a train to cross as only 7 main line trains cross the viaduct a day. It is also used by freight trains and excursions using steam engines. More of my pictures and information can be seen at, www.colingreenphotography.blogspot.co.uk

I took this in April 2015 at the Ribblehead Viaduct, North Yorkshire. The viaduct stands as a lonely structure across the moorland valley, features 24 arches and was opened in 1875. It has survived several attempts to close the line and viaduct and now only carries trains via a single track atop the structure.
