Smarties in their original tube and the lid always had a letter on the inside. Loved them then, still love them now.

I'm a very friendly lion called Parsley, with a tail for doing jobs of every kind, but I mustn't treat it roughly or too harshly, for it's such a useful thing to have behind. KNOCKOUT COVERS No.55 to No.81

No.55 Ad for Kellogg's Sugar Smacks in this weeks Issue, Knockout only seems to have one Ad per issue. No.56 A nice little Ad for the shop 'Spar' giving away Disney cards. No.57 Issue 57 contained the same 'Spar' 'Disney' Ad as Issue 56. No.58 Ad for 'John West' skippers Herrings & Kippers packs, not really something I would have got my mum to go out and buy, even if it did have a free 'Sea Adventurer'. No.59 Ad for next weeks new look 'Knockout' . The 'Moose' strip was missing from this…

Never quite reached the status of a proper chocolate bar - it was basically a lot of chewy milky caramel-coloured stuff coated in a thin layer of chocolate. Weird taste - a bit like chemicals!

UK - Rowntree-Mackintosh - Texan chocolate candy bar wrapper - 1970's

I've been looking for a 1970's UK Texan wrapper since I first saw a photo of one in a 1970's UK nostalgia book. Before finding this, I did pick up a retro Texan wrapper that had been released in 2005, and then a cool 1970's 4-pack wrapper. But this one is the real, vintage, deal.

I still shudder when I remember the taste of the dregs ("where all the good stuff" was).

Oh I so remember these!!

I remember my brother having this and setting tracks all over the living room!
