The Build-it programme, enabling young people to learn building and construction skills whilst refurbishing empty homes and social housing, has won four Gold awards and the Grand Prix at this year's Corporate Engagement Awards.
Cospa, Hyde Housing, Keepmoat, Lambeth Council, Lambeth Living, London Youth, Mears and Metropolitan won four gold awards, one silver was well as the prestigious Grand Prix for their work on the Build-it programme
Central England Co-operative picked up two awards last week at the 2014 Corporate Engagement Awards which is run by Communicate Magazine to honour the best in corporate sponsorships, partnerships and social responsibility.
Barrie Wells from the Wells Sport Foundation scooped up the gold award for best charity, NGO or NFP programme and sports and leisure programme as well as the bronze for best pro bono work for a charitable, social and ethical cause for the Box 4 Kids programme
HighTide and Lansons won highly commended for most effective long term programme and gold for best arts and culture programme
