Outdoor Activity: Roll down the Hills with the Kids

Rolling down the hill - best fun ever This is so true and we never got hurt or broke out necks, but I bet most kids today have never enjoyed this simple pleasure. Too bad as adults we can't just go out on break at work and roll down the nearest hill

"Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory."

I love cat in hat, and Dr. And so true, memories are so unpredictable. The trips I thought I'd remember forever aren't, and the worst things became funniest memories!

"I used to clip these onto my nose , it really hurt" - I'm surprised I didn't try that... Pretty sure I clipped it on my finger though...

Hopscotch is a great favourite from childhood. This post even includes recipe for 'sidewalk paint'. You can use chalk or even bits of old discarded brick to draw the grid.

Supplies needed: chalk or sidewalk paint, stones/bottlecaps or bean bags. Playing hopscotch is easy. First, make the paint to create your hopscotch grid.

Things I collect - I have a stash of these in an old A-Team lunchbox. I don't think they make them anymore.

Loved these pens! I have a little pen collection going .

I know this may sound weird, but I loved Tom more than Jerry. Jerry was very annoying and spiteful! I always hoped that Tom would catch Jerry and eat him! Or at least catch him once and for all!

Making daisy chains...*singing, I'll give you a daisy, a daisy, I'll give you a daisy a day. I'll love you until the rivers run still and the four winds we know pass away....

Making daisy chains during P. when the teacher was talking to be told that I couldn't play rounders etc and had to sit for the hour making daisy chains. Thank you Sir!

Mr Benn was my favourite show and I failed to realise how few episodes there actually were of this genius creation.

Mr Benn and the Shopkeeper. As if by magic the shopkeeper appeared.
