When Regina Mayer's parents said she couldn't get a horse, the 15-year-old did the next best thing: She trained her cow Luna to let a rider sit astride her back. After hours of training (and plenty of treats), Luna let Mayer ride and jump with her as though she were a horse, The Associated Press reported. When Mayer rides her cow, Luna wears all the riding equipment, including a saddle and halter.
