Chinese architecture studio MAD has revealed its design for Train Station in the Forest in Jiaxing, China, which will see the studio rebuild a historical railway station and complement it with a new underground terminal.

The 360,644-square-metre development is intended to transform an inaccessible site in the Yongsan District and will incorporate courtyards that link up with MVRDV's Seoul Skygarden. BIG came up with The Village design proposal for the Hopkins Student Center in response to an international design competition. The winning scheme for the 150,000-square-foot (13,935-square-metre) building will provide a non-academic hub on the Homewood campus of the school, which was founded in 1876 as America's first research university.

Both of the houses have been designed as upside-down homes, with bedrooms on the lower floors and living spaces on the upper floors. Each house will be topped with a roof terrace and the large one will include a plunge pool.
