St. Ives 1908 - there's a small courtyard beyond this stone arch and you can now stay in holiday homes there, which is what I've done- best holiday ever :) St. Ives is the most wonderful place I've ever been too.

ALFRED WALLIS' HOUSE | St Ives, Cornwall: 'The lady in the picture is Mrs Wallis. The view from the front porch would have been of all the boats drawn up on the sand in the harbour.' 'He first married a woman much older than himself, he moved from Penzance to St Ives and lived in a house on the wharf. From there he carried on the trade of a dealer in marine supplies. He was charged a couple of times for receiving stolen goods.' ✫ღ⊰n
