“The Glen of the Red River” – The land that spans the River Ruel, from Kilbride Mhor to the Kyles of Bute'. ‘The Glen Of The Red River Project’ is part of the Nationwide ‘All Our Stories’ programme, supported by The Heritage Lottery Fund. an inter-generational heritage project exploring and recording local stories, collating and recording the history of the Glendaruel and Colintraive communities to provide an on-line ‘heritage centre’ and visitor experience.
