Innovative technology and research at De Montfort University (DMU) helped inspire hundreds of schoolchildren this week. More than 200 young people from secondary schools across Leicestershire were at DMU for Teen Tech, an event to encourage more pupils to study technology and science. DMU has close links with local schools through the award-winning Square Mile project and works hard to raise the aspirations of young people through university outreach work.
