This seat is from a English Electric Canberra aircraft. The 1CN type ejection seat was used in all 3 crew positions, pilot, navigator and bomb aimer in the Canberra. This actual seat is a Type 1C, modified to a Type 1CN during its life. The seat is marked WIL/50 'N' which has been matched to a EE Canberra B(1) 8 WT347 'N' which flew with 14 Sqn. at Wildenrath in 1960's.
